Abundant Grace

I just wanted to remind everyone about the upcoming Alpha Weekend. It starts Friday Evening and goes through Sunday morning October 12-14. We will not be having a church meeting at 728 S. Heylman on Sunday October 14.

I realize that it is difficult to pull ourselves away from family responsibilities, work and other stuff, but I believe that this will be a time you will not want to miss. We will be focusing in on God, the Holy Spirit through out the weekend. The band is planning on being there and playing. We will have late night talks and a lot of fun and games. I believe the time with each other and with God will be life changing.

Remember that the cost is $25 per person, or $45 for a married couple. The age range for this time together is teens through adults. Sorry, we will not be having childcare this time.

If you can’t come for the weekend, you are still welcome to come over to Camp Galilee on Sunday the 14th. We will be starting the meeting around 9:00 am. If you want to bring your kids to this time there still will not be childcare, but they are welcome as long as you keep an eye on them.

I know that some are not planning on going because of the childcare issue. If you are willing to watch someone else’s kids so they can go, please let me know.

One final thing: Do not let money be an issue. We have already received some donations to help mitigate the cost for you, if you need it. Please don’t hesitate to ask about financial assistance.
